Job Description

Our Client in Little Rock, AR has an immediate for Transportation brokerage sales position. This position necessitates determining, generating and capturing new Logistics sales. This Little Rock, AR based position involves independently generating new sales revenue for Cornerstone Systems. This is to be accomplished through research and qualifying prospective new customers, contacting inactive customers, and cold calling potential customers by telephone, email and personal visits. It is essential for the?Corporate Sales Representative?to effectively communicate detailed information on various products, programs or services offered by the company to our customers. It is also essential for effective, accurate and timely communication of all pertinent customer information be internally relayed to our rate and operations personnel.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Scheduling appointments, meeting with existing customers in order to review freight requirements, and to determine additional opportunities.
  •  

     

  • Effective planning to conduct productive sales presentations by fact finding with customers.
  •  

     

  • Coordinate professional presentations of company products or services.
  •  

     

  • Liaising between the company and the customers for up-to-date condition on pricing, service and competition.
  •  

     

  • Generating and developing non-established businesses accounts in order to increase revenue, through cold calling.
  •  

     

  • Continuously updating all customers on changes, and service enhancements.
  •  

     

  • Learning new products, procedures, services and tools by attending training meetings.
  •  

     

  • Maintaining professionalism, diplomacy, sensitivity, and tact to portray the company in a positive manner.
  •  

     

  • Effectively attend training programs, conferences and trade shows as directed by the company.
  •  

     

  • Use marketing data to maximize sales effectiveness and efficiency by using relevant sales management tools.
  •  

     

  • Preparing and organizing sales calls and material.
  •  

     

  • Preparing reports for sales and marketing, and maintaining weekly expense reports.
  •  

     

  • Updating and maintenance of all account information in Cornerstone's CRM program Microsoft Dynamics.
  •  

     

  • Providing quotations to customers as needed.
  •  

     

  • Ensuring follow-up on all sales leads with information copied to the sales manager, with complete profile customer information, calls-to-action, sources, dates.
  •  

     

  • Become proficient with all company computer systems including but not limited to the AS400 and Merlin Rate Tool.
  •  

     

  • Meet or exceed company outlined revenue and margin requirements.
  •  

     

  • Weekly sales call reporting to appropriate sales manager.
  •  

     

  • Follow up with customers when notified of rate changes to ensure maximum service and profitability.
  •

Remuneration:  $25.00 to $45.00 per Hour (Salary Depends on Experience)
