Treasury - Java Developer

Job Description

Our client has an exciting opening for Java Developer/Software Engineer! Our development environment is very dynamic and offers a variety of projects for you to work on. You will have the opportunity to provide your expertise and technical savvy in support of several Java applications that will work with new technologies and tools like SpringBatch, Cucumber, GIT/Stash and many more.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3+ years experience in Java application development, including preparing and presenting design solutions

Bachelor in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience

Strong Java development skills in a J2EE environment

Experience in automated testing of complex software, strong understanding of unite, integration and system testing concepts, tools and best practices

Strong analytical, organizational, prioritization, multi-tasking, problem solving and follow through skills in a fast paced environment

Strong working knowledge of web concepts and proficient coding standards; agile methodology and test driven development

Demonstrated verbal and written communications skills; Ability to produce clear and accurate documentation

Must be able to work collaboratively with users, vendors representatives, and in-house technical staff

Demonstrated ability to articulate design concepts to a variety of audiences including software engineers, managers and clients

Capable of accepting and independently delivering the assigned work; producing high quality, web-based, complete business solutions

Must be a high-energy individua, capable of keeping abreast of rapidly advancing web technology 

Takes the initiative in leveraging and marketing web technology for in-house implementation

Desired Skills:

Experience as a senior Developer or Technical Lead and mentoring other developers, Experience as a WebSphere integration developer

Experience with WebSphere application server in JUnit and other testing frameworks and tools such as Cactus, DBUnit, Struts Test Case and mock object frameworks, Ant and tools which support continuous integration Struts, Hibernate, Spring, SpringBatch, SpringWeb; EJBs and DAOs; XML, JSP, JavaScript; Web architecture, related standards and industry best practices, Agile Methodology, HTML, DHTML, XHTML and SML experience creating test coverage for legacy systems Relational Database and DB2 skills
